I still remember the first time I heard Kristin Hersh, "Your Gost" it was on Grande Delta, Antónios radio show.
Wherever you are I hope you are listening to all the good music that you loved so much. RIP António Sérgio.

Beware the cost of war...

Beware the cost of war is the title of an exhibition that opened yesterday (23rd Oct) and will run to the 29th October in the Blackall Studios here in London.
It features the work of a respected list of Palestinian an Israeli photographers that you can see also online at 100Eyes.

Now the exhibition can have the best of the intentions, and who am I to deny it but Asim Rafiqui makes for a valid point at his blog The Spinning Head .

This Monday the 26th of October there will be a panel discussion featuring some of the photographers and chaired by Jon Snow (well known Channel 4 News presenter) lets hope that questions like the ones Asim has aired in his blog are acknowledge and discussed over that evening.

So if you have no plans for Monday evening and you are in the east London area do come by to see the pictures and listen to what the panellists have to say about their work in this particularly difficult reality.
